Guggenheim Museum Bilbao

The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao was designed by Frank Gehry. It opened in 1997. I was there in 2009.

It is located on the Nervion river.

I really, really liked the flower dog. It is good to have people in this picture as it helps to understand how huge the dog is.

Much like Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris, I liked the architecture of the building more than the art that is displayed inside.

But I really liked the flower dog and the tulips (both by artist Jeff Koons).

I want to see the world! I am armed with the book "1,000 places to see before you die" and I am having a great time. I am also a dog lover and theatre snob.
