Vienna, Austria

Tuesday, September 29th was our day in Vienna. This is my 31st new country.

I am really enjoying my Viking river cruise. It has been such a great experience and they are the reason I can visit so many countries in such a short time.

The city of Vienna is in the “the book.” We had a nice bus trip along the ring road, and then a visit to Belvedere Palace (now a museum), and finally a visit to Schonbrunn Palace. It was our longest day so far.

Austrian Parliament – featuring the breast cancer pink ribbon.

The visitors’ bathroom. Only place inside I was allowed to take pictures. This is not what the palace looks like inside. Picture chandeliers, gold, and intricate tapestries.

Vienna – go there. I need to return and see some more.

I want to see the world! I am armed with the book "1,000 places to see before you die" and I am having a great time. I am also a dog lover and theatre snob.
