Stockholm Archipelago

One week ago….I was in Stockholm.  The City of Stockholm sits on 14 islands. The archipelago extends 150 miles and includes 24,000 – 30,000 (depending on the source) islands. According to “the book,” it is 24,000 islands. We probably cruised by 100 of them.

It was raining when we cruised into Stockholm in the morning. The weather was slightly better in the afternoon, but we did have a little rain/hail shower.

It really is beautiful here, and reminded me of Lake Huron because of the rockiness of some of the islands…and the greenness.

About jewelsworldtravels

I want to see the world! I am armed with the book "1,000 places to see before you die" and I am having a great time. I am also a dog lover and theatre snob.
