Tivoli Gardens

I visited Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark two weeks ago. We had great weather for this fun, family day.

Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens is one of the world’s oldest theme parks. It is said to have inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland.

In addition to the amusement park aspect, there are some great gardens, ponds and green area in this “garden.” My favorite ride was the swing. The view of Copenhagen from the swing was amazing. Sadly, no pictures as cameras weren’t allowed. Plus a camera probably would have gone flying from my hand as soon as the swings started going round and round and round.

I rode a camel on the carousel, and a fun roller coaster. And we visited the beer garden.

It was a great day!
