Tallinn Estonia

New country alert! Estonia is one of the key reasons I wanted to take a Baltic cruise. I love it here. Tallinn has plenty of free wi-fi, which is great after a sea day.

Old Tallinn (in the book) would have been one of those areas where I want to ignore the map and just wander because that is often when I find the most interesting things. However, Old Tallinn is difficult to navigate without a map because it is an old walled city with lots of dead ends. Since I had a limited amount of time, I used my map and was thankful for it.

I bought a lovely handmade linen scarf and table cloth.

The old buildings in Old Tallinn are adorable. Pink!

The cathedral is more amazing from the outside than the inside. The architecture is so distinctive as Russian, and doesn’t really fit with the rest of Old Tallinn.

Don’t miss the interesting food in Old Tallinn. I didn’t see this until after I ate lunch.

I want to see the world! I am armed with the book "1,000 places to see before you die" and I am having a great time. I am also a dog lover and theatre snob.
