Sea day. Lots of water.
This ship can really move! My previous (limited) cruising experience did not include moving this quickly. And my previous cruise experience did not include sea sickness, but I didn’t feel well. Perhaps some of this can be contributed to the excessive drinking the day before.
I had planned to spend some time napping, but was too excited to sleep!
I went to the art auction, but only because they give free champagne. Their free champagne did not cause me to spend money on art.
I also braved the chilly pool to swim with my niece Tiffany. It was so windy, but sunny. The water was really sloshing out of the pool and the hot tubs. On the plus side…being in the pool was the only place on the ship where it didn’t feel like I was on a ship. I felt much better as soon as I got in the pool.
We finished the day with karaoke. I sang Dancing Queen with my niece Autumn – we had a blast. It was my first time doing karaoke (in public). The buckets of beer, and shot of tequila made it all possible!
