Day 8 of cruise – Sicily

Sicily by car - not Mt Etna

Sicily is an island located off of the tip of Italy’s boot. It is a bigger island than I expected, and takes a long time to drive around, or through. I expected to be able to see much more than I actually did. It was a beautiful drive though.

I visited a site from the book that will become a separate post, so I don’t have much more to say about Sicily. I saw very little of Palermo, and lots of the countryside. All other pictures here.

About jewelsworldtravels

I want to see the world! I am armed with the book "1,000 places to see before you die" and I am having a great time. I am also a dog lover and theatre snob.
